Village Tours Organized : Students Gained Insight

Multiple village tours were organised in the villages of civil lines i.e. Burari and Salempur Majra, by the UBA cell. These village tours helped the volunteers to understand the village context and to get a deeper understanding about the goals and work of Unnat Bharat Abhiyan.
These village tours were assisted by the faculty members of UBA Cell along with locals Mr. Neeraj Tyagi and Mr. Goldie. Through these village tours and meetings with the local administration of village Burari, the cell reached to the conclusion of the first step of the abhiyan which was household and village surveys in the village Burari; Civil Lines.

On 13th June, 2019, the first village tour was conducted in Village Burari under the leadership of two faculty members of IGDTUW, Ar. Kshitij Kumar Sinha, Assistant Professor, DAP and Mr. Ravinder Kumar Assistant Professor, MAE department along with local residents Mr. Neeraj Tyagi and Mr. Goldie. Other faculty member of the UBA Cell, Ar. Vishal Rai, Associate Professor, DAP also visited the village on 20th June 2019 and gave valuable inputs for carrying out the survey works.
