I'm filled with immense pride to see how the Centre for Sustainable Development (CSD) stands at the forefront of our university's commitment to promoting sustainability and responsible development. Through a plethora of events and workshops, the CSD is dedicatedly integrating the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into our university's core operations. Witnessing the unwavering passion of every member of the CSD as they tirelessly strive to establish IGDTUW as a beacon of sustainable practices is truly remarkable!
The CSD plays a vital role in building environmentally conscious environment. Their projects range from waste reduction and energy conservation to promoting sustainable fashion, all of which not only benefit the environment but also enrich our lives here at IGDTUW. I am immensely proud of the significant milestones that the CSD has accomplished thus far. It is a completely student-driven Youth Initiative creating Social Ambassadors of Change. They work towards 13 SDG Goals under the guidance of the Project Management Unit (PMU) consisting of IGDTUW Faculty. Their impact has been profound, and we are only at the beginning of this journey. Through engaging events, workshops, and initiatives, they raise awareness, educate, and inspire our community to contribute to a better, more sustainable future.
