Twitter Campaign

Inayat has started it's 4-day long Twitter Campaign "Care, Wear, and Repair" that aims to promote sustainable fashion. A pledge "I hereby pledge to create and maintain strict and sustainable environmental standards, personally and professionally." was taken by all the participating students. Also, a question related to the sustainable fashion campaign was posted each day for 4 days where students tweeted their answers showcasing their learnings and views.

New Trends With Old Clothes

'New Trends With Old Clothes' was an exciting Twitter Campaign organized by Team Inayat of CSD. The event's main focus was to promote sustainable fashion practices through creative upcycling. Participants were challenged to give a new lease of life to their old pieces of clothing by transforming them into trendy and fashionable items. To take part, they had to share the before and after pictures of their transformations on Twitter.
Initially scheduled from 21st to 23rd July, the event's response fell short of

expectations. In an effort to encourage more entries, the campaign was extended until 27th July, and a warning was issued to ensure participants comply with the rules.
Despite these efforts, the campaign struggled to gather a substantial number of participants. However, the event's concept was commendable, and it aimed to highlight the importance of reducing fashion waste and embracing sustainable fashion choices. While the impact was not as extensive as hoped, valuable lessons can be learned to improve future sustainability initiatives and engage a broader audience in similar campaigns

T-shirt Painting Workshop

The event commenced at around 8 pm and lasted for over an hour. To begin, our speaker provided a brief description of the workshop's objectives, followed by a tutorial video on T-shirt painting playing in the background. Initially, the event started at a slow pace with only a few participants joining. However, when slightly strict messages were circulated in various WhatsApp groups, the event gained momentum. Within just 45 minutes, the number of participants surged to over 450. Notably, almost 40% of the attendees had their videos on for the entire duration of the workshop. To ensure smooth coordination, a total of 7 meeting links were created. After the meeting concluded, the attendance link was shared in the chat box, but some participants faced difficulties while uploading the required screenshot. Overall, the event achieved moderate success, serving as a valuable reminder to students about the significance of their participation in various events organized by CSD and its role in their overall evaluation
